Welcome to La Casa di Antonella

Located in the heart of Siena, La Casa di Antonella offers a charming and authentic Tuscan experience that resonates deeply with travelers seeking local flavor and comfort. With a solid rating of 4.2, this boutique accommodation stands out for its warm hospitality and intimate setting.

The highlight of a stay here is undoubtedly the host, Fabrizio, whose genuine warmth and insightful recommendations transform a simple visit into a memorable journey. Guests like Ian Darlington and Eliot Riley praised Fabrizio’s keen knowledge of hidden gems in Siena, from affordable eateries serving authentic regional cuisine to picturesque Tuscan villages ideal for day trips. This personalized touch creates a connection that goes beyond typical lodging, enhancing the entire travel experience.

While the establishment lacks some modern amenities such as air conditioning and a dedicated restaurant, the cozy rooms make up for it through their clean, comforting atmosphere and unique character—Melody Telford’s mention of frescoed ceilings paints an image of artistic charm rarely found in standard accommodations. The location itself, nestled by the historic Basilica Cateriniana and close to Piazza Matteotti’s vibrant shops and cafes, perfectly situates guests to explore Siena’s medieval allure on foot.

La Casa di Antonella’s pet-friendly and kid-friendly policies make it a versatile choice for diverse travelers. Free Wi-Fi and parking add convenience, though guests should be prepared for the building’s staircases and absence of air conditioning during peak heat. Despite these minor drawbacks, the inviting ambiance and Fabrizio’s attentive hosting make this a place guests are eager to return to—echoing the sentiments of many who found their Tuscan stay both cozy and authentic.

In essence, La Casa di Antonella embodies the spirit of Siena through its blend of rich history, cultural immersion, and heartfelt service. It isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s a doorway to experiencing Tuscany’s warmth and timeless charm firsthand.

Only stayed 2 nights but Fabrizio was a great host! He recommended 2 restaurants which delivered some of the best food during a 2-week trip. I was sad not to have experience his breakfast as it looked amazing but I was in and out each morning. You can drop bags early and leave them after check-out. Would stay here again easily!

Fabrizio was great, he gave us some fantastic suggestions for local food and drink spots that aren’t expensive, as well as a list of great Tuscan villages to visit after we left. The room was comfy and clean, and right in the centre of Siena , the facilities were clean and great too! Overall it was great , we will definitely be staying again!

Very cozy little place - be aware that it's at the top of a few flights of stairs. Owner was very nice and he had a lovely spread of breakfast the next morning. And he cooked me eggs, as well :). Water pressure was decent and there were hair dryers for me to use after. My room even had frescoes on the ceiling! My favorite place that I've stayed so far on my trip.

Great location in the middle of Siena and the host, Fabrizio, is very nice! The rooms were nice and clean, but the fan on the ceiling was not enough airconditioning for the 40 degrees it was outside. Should be fine when the temperatures are back to normal, though!
